MARROK The sun now shone fully through the trees and into the clearing, glowing against the yellow spots of his thick fur. Marrok’s ears twitched at the sound of other wolves. Pups playing, mostly. With a soft smile, he took one more look around the territory before his muscled legs sprung into action and glided across the rustling grass. Running. Marrok loved running. There was no purer form of freedom in his mind - of course, he didn’t have wings like some wolves. The air would have chilled him if his movement hadn’t warmed up his bones, strengthening his sleep worn muscles with every stride.
EVELYN
Her piercing blue eyes stared up at the sky above her. Her arms, thick with muscle for her otherwise small body, rested above her head. She shifted slightly on the sack of hay she had slept on. Evelyn had been out late and didn’t want to sneak back home in the middle of the night, so she slept outside. Her leather armor had been thrown carelessly to the side, along with her bow and quiver. That was how Evelyn preferred to live. Sure, she broke a few rules here and there, but she wasn’t much in the business of caring about that - not when it compared to her having her fun and freedom. With a long sigh, Evelyn sat up, only then feeling the cool breeze as it whipped around her auburn hair. She stood, stretching her long limbs awake. The armor that had been beside her soon found its way onto her body, the straps tightened comfortably, perfectly. Evelyn’’s quiver had just slid onto her shoulder when a voice called her name. Evelyn whipped an arrow from her quiver, spinning around as she nocked it. Her eyes pierced the gaze that belonged to the voice. ROWAN He had hardly slept, and yet, he was still wide awake. He was curled up next to his sleeping mother, gaining what warmth he could from her body, but he was growing restless. Rowan rolled away from Peronell, pulling himself to his feet. The cold rushed over him and he shivered for a few seconds before his body got used to the change in weather. Rowan knew his mother would worry if she awoke and he wasn’t there, but his stomach rumbled and his limbs ached with the will to run and to play. He took a few quiet, hesitant steps from Peronell, looking back to make sure she was still asleep. After he was confident he was in the clear, Rowan ran into the nearby trees.

* Tags: Cardinal, Open * Name: Kasheen Rougehide Age: 4 years (28 human years) Gender: Female Species: 'Domestic' Miladda Wolf Location: Palace Village Rank: Guard Companion: "His name is Unknown." Crush/Mate: None at the moment Kin: "I have a Brother, his name is Cane..."
As the children finished cleaning them selves up for their morning breakfast, Kasheen eyed the wolves pouring into the streets. She didn't quite trust all of them, she knew how her kind could have an unruly temper. About that time, Kasheen's eyes fell on Cardinal, "Hmm, there's the trouble maker of the Knights guild..." she muttered as her neon green eyes followed him. "You two all done?" She asked the children before flattening her ears at the little girls screaming excitement, "Ahhh Yes!!!" She squealed and jumped on Kasheen's back. Kasheen expected the loud and some what irritating scream but not the sudden bony knees and elbows digging into her bruised sides. "AH, okay lets go!" Kasheen instantly jump to her paws. "Woah!" The little girl yelled as she held on tight to Kasheen's red fur. "Next time little one, please don't jump on me." She told her before looking at the boy. "Are you going to walk?" She asked him and watched as the boy eyed the large black and yellow winged wolf, Cardinal. "Hmm.." Kasheen hummed and nuzzled the human boy's face. "He wont bother you while I'm here." Kasheen told him before nudging the boy in the direction of their cottage. The two children of the retired guard quietly rode and followed Kasheen until they made it to their little cottage in the village square. "You two mind your parents, Now go eat up and grow strong for the future of our kingdom." she told the two with a smile. Turning from the cottage she looked to the Knight, Cardinal. He was looking for a fight yet again, she could see it in his golden eyes. "Cardinal, If you want action you should head to the practice arena.... that will keep you out of trouble." she told him, her lime green eyes narrowing as she looked him over. "Cane can't lecture you if you're fighting there." she told him, she had a feeling he'd just been scolded for his stunt he pulled the previous evening. That wolf just couldn't get it through his thick head that you can't just openly fight within the palace walls... it causes problems and panic among the villagers, hell who wouldn't panic if they seen a two six to seven foot tall wolves fighting in the market square? Kasheen continued towards him until she was about a yard away from him. "If you don't know where the arena is located I can take you there after I check in for my patrol..." She told him, she realized that mentioning her patrol would probably spark a hidden fuse within Cardinal's thick scale, but she wasn't worried about him possibly trying to challenge her. Even though she's bruised from last nights patrol that didn't mean she couldn't hold her own. She was a guard after all, a position in which she's been entrusted to protect the lives of those within the village. Some would think that Knight's and Guards are trained in a different manner but that wasn't the case. They both are trained equally, at least the wolves are, the human Knights and guards could be a different story. Rotating her wolf ears towards Cardinal, she waited for his reply, the sound of his sharp and foolish words... Something about this wolf always pissed Kasheen off. Maybe it was his mature want for action? maybe it was because he wasn't seasoned in battle... or maybe it was his pure loyalty to the palace. Holding her self in a dominate stance, she waited patiently for his reply. About that time, Kasheen's neon eyes shot to a Raven that let out is squaw of a call. Quickly her eyes traveled back Cardinal, her stance still tall and dominating.
* Tags: Open * Name: Princess Myrina (Rin) Age: 18 years Gender: Female Species: Human Location: Palace Rank: Princess/ Secretly a Knight Companion: Azark is her Knight Wolf, her Royal Wolf is yet TBD Crush: Taisuke Nadiachi Kin: The King and Queen are her Parents
"I can't wait till night fall..." Princess Myrina grumbled as she stared up at her bedroom ceiling from her bed where she lay. She could hear the beautiful song birds singing away just outside her window, and the annoying knocking of her hand maids at her bed chamber door. "Milady, may we enter?" They called softly, "They speak so softly yet they bang on the door like there's a fire taking over the palace." She muttered softly before swinging her legs over the side of her bed and sitting up. "You may enter." She spoke loudly, her voice like honey and confident. As soon as the Princess had given the word, the hand maids of her majesty came pouring into the room like a river damn had just broke and released the restricted water. 'Suitors... that's what I'm going to see after breakfast today... men that seek my hand... lovely.' she thought as she watched as over twenty women raced into her room and began putting fancy dresses on manikins made of straw and sheep's skin. Seeing the ten new and very extravagant gowns lining the width of her room, Myrina realized why all the hand maids were needed. '... Another day where i must grit my teeth and bare it... I'd so much rather be on the battle field facing a lion buck or a savage wolf...' she thought as she watched the maids tiredly. "Come now milady! You must bath! Oh, but please eat first!" It seem this hand maid before her highness was getting ahead of herself. "Yes, please... let me be to eat." All the hand maids stopped what they were doing and quickly turned and bowed to Princess Myrina and exited the room for a brief amount of time so she could eat in peace. "Thank the heavens... " she whispered as she was now finally alone again. Standing to her feet, she shivered as her bare feet touched the cold marble floors of her bedchamber. Walking towards the center of her room, Myrina sat at the single silver crafted table and chair, "Hmm, they changed the Silver dish covers to gold ones." She softly muttered, something no other royal would ever do, manners they would tell her. 'royal's don't mutter, speak up girl!' rolling her eyes for a moment as the thought came to mind, Myrina quickly and easily removed the golden covers which kept her food warm. As the lid came off, the magnificent scent of banana and strawberry porridge filled her nostrils along with the smell of freshly baked banana bread and hot roasted nuts. Finishing up her meal Myrina called the maids back into her room and asked "So, may I so kindly ask what all the extravagant gowns are for?" a soft chuckle left her pretty pink lips. Soon after a new maid spoke up as no other maids dared to bring the truth to light "Um, ah well there are some very important people coming to the palace today... Among them will be a few suitors as well, they've all asked for your hand in marriage and well... your mother and father felt you should at least meet them." The maid stumble around as she tried to speak. Though she was new to the maids of the palace, she knew that the princess was against meeting suitors. Myrina's brow twitched slightly but then relaxed, she hated suitors and her parents knew it, all of the palace knew it "Since it's not only the suitors that are visiting, I'll dress and make my presents known... Other wise I would not attend at all." Myrina's expression hardened as she quickly rose to her feet and walked to her bathing room. "Is my bath hot like I always request?" She asked before turning her cold gaze back to the maids. She knew before they entered there were yet again more suitors she'd have to meet... the truth just soured her mood even more. The maids stood silently, the feeling of the once excited atmosphere was now a depressed and edgy one, the one thing that princess defiantly gained from her father was his cold and dominate gaze when in a fowl mood... you could defiantly tell they were father and daughter. After bathing and dressing in the maids favorite choice of all ten of the dresses, Princess Myrina gracefully walked through the palace and into the back garden. Her long light pink train trailed behind her as she tried to quietly escape into her favorite area of the garden. As the light hit her, the sun reflected off her pearls sewed into the fabric around her breast and down her mid section. Lining the seems of her dress was golden trim and lace which was also decorated with peals in places. Once she was out of sight of the palace windows, Myrina sighed with relief and quickly made her way through the rose bush maze, she knew for a fact on the other side of this maze was the Knights arena, she hoped she'd get a glimpse of Taisuke Nadiachi, the man who was behind her reason for refusing suitors, though of course he didn't know that nor did her parents or any of the maids. "I hope he's there." She whispered as she picked up her dress a to help her glide more quickly through the rose maze. Exiting the maze, Myrina took in a deep breath and smiled as her eyes fell on the sight of swords colliding with one another and the sound of armor rattling as the knights moved in battle. * Tags: Nikita * Name: Lanaria Winterrain Age: 2 years Gender: Female Species: Miladda Wolf Location: Pack Rank: Lead Healer Companion: N/A Crush/Mate: None at the moment Kin: If there is anyone she doesn't know they exist.
Watching Nikita's strict teaching the white fea let out a soft sigh before muttering, "Does she have to be so harsh?" Glancing around at all the on looker's Lanaria’s golden eyes were searching for the alpha. Off in the distance she could see the handsome brute in play with a small group of pups, of course his body wasn’t in sight only his soul. A soft smile spread across her lips before returning her attention to the warriors and their teacher. Every soul has it’s own story it tells of how that individual is feeling at that moment, determined, brave… So much to learn from one single soul. Staying off in the distance Lanaria somewhat dreaded going to the pupil’s aid. She would learn his story… and form a connection, the pain of his death would be linked to her own soul, something she has trouble accepting. The pain she feels when a soul has parted from a being she had once touched is almost as great as losing a loved one. Watching the blood drip from Nikita’s sword and from the males wound, Lanaria finally emerged from the shadows and padded lightly down the massive roots of a nearby tree until near the base. Delicately leaping off the raised root, Lanaria landed gently on her paws and continued to pad into the center of the onlookers until near the wounded brute. The eyes of the others pierced through her, it was obvious to her that not many liked her company… they seen her as strange, some even feared she was a spy from the castle and wondered why the alpha and accepted her as a pup. This didn’t normally affect her work though. Looking at Nikita as she declared that class was dismissed, Lanaria quickly made her way to the brute to heal him. Not knowing Nikita all too well, shew wasn’t sure how she would feel about the lesson learned being healed so soon.

EVELYN“Father,” Evelyn said. “What are you doing here?” She lowered her bow and placed the arrow back in its holster. “You did not come home last night. I was worried.” Evelyn’s father, Wilfred, was always overly protective. Though if you asked him, he would say quite the opposite. And from what Evelyn had heard, at one point, that was true. Old family friends said he used to be fun and carefree, much like her now. However, after Evelyn was born and her mother died, he changed. He didn’t want to lose another family member, Evelyn supposed. “You realize I’m an adult, father? I am twenty-seven years old. I don’t need you looking after me.” “A twenty-seven year old girl who is not married. You need a man to look after you. Like your mother used to say, ‘A woman can be independent so long -’” “So long as she can come home to a man who loves her enough to cook and care for her,” Evelyn finished. Apparently, her mother had all sorts of sayings like that. But she had to take her father’s word for it. “Precisely. Do I cook and care for you?” “Yes, father, but I work for the king now. You don’t need to worry about me. I can take care of yourself.” “Words that will never get you a husband.” “Not everything is about marriage, father,” Evelyn said. “I have duties.” “Since when were you one to worry about your duties?” Wilfred asked, sticking his calloused hands in his pockets. “Since you started trying to marry me off. If you’ll excuse me, I’m very sorry, but I do need to go. It may surprise you to know that I do try to follow orders sometimes.” Evelyn shouldered her bow, brushing past her father as she made her way toward the castle. She was probably going to be late, but much to the dismay of the commanding officer, that was not unusual. Quite frankly, Evelyn was surprised that she had not been discharged from the army for her tardiness alone, not to mention the number of other times she’s gotten herself into trouble with her superiors.ROWANIt was only a few moments before Rowan slowed to a walk. He had never been in the forest alone. His mother never allowed him, and he was beginning to see why. The forest was dark, full of unfamiliar sights and sounds. Shadows danced before his eyes, flashed by before he had a chance to see what they were or who they belonged to.
But soon that fear had faded. He was growing tired, but that wasn’t going to stop him. He loved running like this. Away from the pack. Away from his mother telling him to stay close and watching his every move. He loved his mother, of course, but she was too protective for his taste. It was nice to be away, even for a little bit.
That was until the woods ended.
He didn’t notice at first, but the trees came to a sudden end. They opened up into a clearing, with long green grass and multi-colored flowers that made his nose tingle.
The clearing stopped suddenly, ending in a cliff. Rowan was sniffing, his eyes closed. And suddenly he was falling. “Help me!” He yelped. He didn’t like wandering off so much anymore.

(I'm currently working on a new way to post, I feel my current is too much for the eyes to take in lmao I also want to apologize for the slow posts) JACE ~Male/Rank: Hunter/Kin: None/Crush: None yet~ Flying around the border of the territory, Jace spotted a small figure below him, "A pup?" He muttered with a confused expression plastered on his muzzle. He watched as this pup quickly exited the forest and raced off towards the clearing. "He's headed straight for the drop of!" Jace spoke aloud to himself as he quickly swooped down in the pup's direction. "He's not slowing down!" Jace muttered to himself as the pup rushed through the tall grasses and flowers causing insects to rush out of his path and into the air, the sunlight danced across the wings of many of the bugs as they went air born. About that moment, the pup had run straight off the edge of the cliff, his yelp echoed through the air. Luckily, the pup didn't fall far before Jace swooped down towards him. Folding in his large feathered wings he made himself speed up his falling speed to reach the pup. Now, falling along side the pup Jace looked over at him and gave him a comforting smile, "I got you!" He told him before quickly and gently grabbing ahold of the pups scruff. Opening his wings up, Jace quickly changed his bullet position and began to glide at and angled until gradually he made his way back up to where the pup had fallen from. From where the pup hung in Jace's jaws, he could see a large portion of the hunting grows below the land was lush and teaming with life. Soon, Jace's paws touched down in the flowering grass field. His land was very smooth and gentle, leaning down, he easily set the pup down before him and folded his wings in. A soft sigh escaped him before he looked down at the pup and gave him a kind grin, "You alright?" He asked as he raised an eye brow and looked over the pup, checking for any injuries.

ROWAN
He was falling quickly, plummeting toward the ground with no way to stop himself. He flailed helplessly, hoping, praying, something could save him. Moments later, his prayer was answered. Another wolf appeared beside him, grabbed hold of him. As they glided upwards, Rowan got a view of the land below. He wasn't sure what area it was, but he could see elk, deer, birds, and he even thought he glimpsed a rabbit as it ran under a bright green bush.
And then he was on the ground. He was shaking, more from adrenaline than fear at this point. His eyes wide, he looked up at the other wolf as he folded his wings in and asked if Rowan was all right. Before answering he took a glance back toward the edge of the cliff, a smile widening on his face. "That was awesome! Can we do it again?"
